My work has been selected for the cover of one of popular Japanese art magazines. The entire work is also published in the feature article.
The feature article is entitled “Decorative Beauty”. While drawing patterns I always feel something sacred.“Ornamentation” or “Kazari” are representative expressions of Japanese art, along with “Wabi and Sabi, (eliminated beauty)” but for some reason, they are often denied.
Personally, I was impressed by the last word of Ms. Tamamushi’s interview in this magazine.
